Sally Quilford - Releases Historical and Contemporary - GIVEAWAY

She's back again with a bouquet of new releases - and I don't know how she does it.  I'm talking about the amazing Sally Quilford, a favourite author of mine, who writes romances historical and contemporary, which practically come alive on your Kindle (or your computer or whatever e reader you happen to use).  She just keeps coming back with more and more wonderful stories.  Her latest batch of includes a regency novel (HER LOVING PROTECTOR), a more recent historical (ANNA'S RETURN) and a short contemporary (HER FRIEND FROM THE NORTH) so that should keep her readers happy for a while.  I took the opportunity to ask Sally a few questions about her writing and her new releases.

The winner of Sally's book is Patsy Collins

What's the secret behind your prolific output Sally? I'm intrigued to know. Do you write every day? Do you have a specific target?
There’s no big secret I can share. I don’t sit down and write every d…

An Aria for Nick by Hallee Bridgeman - Part II of the Song of Suspense Series GIVEAWAY.

I'm happy to welcome Christian novelist Hallee Bridgeman to MBB today.  Hallee writes wonderful novels, full of romance, intrigue and suspense and all the stories fully reflect Christian values and there's one thing I've learnt from reading her work.  Being an upfront Christian is not for the weak or the fainthearted.  As a person with deep Christian beliefs, as well as an avid reader, I find Hallee's work a blessing to me and hopefully, to as many readers to whom I can spread the word about these wonderful books through this blog. Hallee not only writes novels, she's an avid homemaker and writes some amazing cookbooks.

How did you discover your calling as a Christian novelist, Hallee?
In 2009, our family went through a deeply spiritual renewal. We looked at our life and realized that we’d fallen into a world view trap. While we loved God, we did not love Him with all of our hearts, minds, strength, or souls. We loved…

In The Realm of Fantasy with Gina Dickerson

It's my pleasure to welcome Gina Dickerson with her debut novel, a work of fantasy entitled MORTISWOOD: KAELIA AWAKENING.  She's come to tell us a little bit about the book and answer my extremely searching questions.  So here we go:

BlogWebsiteFacebook Twitter

What inspires you to write?
I can’t pinpoint inspiration to a specific thing. I think my love of writing stems from having been obsessed with reading from a young age. My imagination is very active, when I’m not writing, I’m thinking about writing. Sometimes it feels as if the stories need to come out - which is great! So, I suppose, writing has always been something I have felt compelled to do.

What gave you the idea for your new release?
Writing Mortiswood: Kaelia Awakening, the first in the Mortiswood Tales series, I wanted to create a dark fantasy tale with hints of myth, fairy-tale, and romance. A whole lot of action and adventure also jumped into the story! There is much beauty in the place wh…

Back on the Double: Cait O'Sullivan With Two Haunting Novellas!

I'm only too thrilled to welcome back the lovely and very talented Irish author Cait O'Sullivan to MBB today.  She'd been very quiet for a while, but she's now back with two lovely novellas (gothic romances to be precise!) which I have the privilege of reading and reviewing right now.  After that stunning guest post she did for me last time, we opted for an interview on this occasion.  Cait agreed to answer a few searching questions for me. So please read and enjoy and do remember to check out her new novellas which are different in tone and setting to her contemporary romance novel from earlier this year.

Cait O'Sullivan on the Web:

What inspires and drives you to write?
Good question, Maria. I don’t know where it comes from, but sometimes an idea won’t let me go and I have to write it. I become intrigued and want to see where it goes so I have little choice. ‘Tis great, really.

Who's your favourite author?
Currently, it’s Robin Hobb. I …
